Beach Commissioner's Corner

Hello AVIA!!
Hope everyone enjoyed the 2026 Winter fun! It was a hearty one to say the least. It is time to Welcome our 2026 Summer Season!
- As notified, the large beach shed was cleaned out last fall. Thanks to the efforts of our board volunteers there are now installed hooks along the walls to store your beach chairs. We have maintained space along the bottom right wall to store additional chairs. In addition, a new section in the back left corner has been created to specifically store the beach umbrellas. These improvements were made to alleviate the overall safety issue of navigating the shed and to create additional storage space for the Village's beach equipment. Please be mindful to use the new setup to keep the shed orderly and accessible for everyone.
- Please pick up all your Chairs, Tents and Umbrellas from the beach at the end of each day. It is important to share the space with all the members and keep it clean.
- As a reminder from the board meeting minutes, we had several watercraft on the side of the beach and racks with no name identification last season. The deadline is this weekend to claim any unnamed watercraft or they will be donated.
- Please keep it safe for everyone this summer season and remember to keep the boat speed to a minimum exiting and approaching the AVIA and neighboring docks systems.
- Please remember use the Trash Bins for Beach Trash only to keep our beach area clean. Please do not use these bins for your household trash.
Thanks,
John
